Directions to Church Picnic

Directions to North Point State Park
(Directions from World Relief Building)

  1. Start out going EAST on E BALTIMORE ST and turn RIGHT at the light onto LIGHT ST / MD-2 S and continue for 0.3 mile.
  2. Turn RIGHT onto E CONWAY ST. and continue for 0.3 mile.
  3. Get in the lanes leading to I-395 S. and follow for 0.7 mile.
  4. Merge to the RIGHT onto I-95 N toward NEW YORK and drive for 6.1 miles.  Please note that there will be a couple dollars toll for the tunnel while you’re on 95.
  5. Merge towards the right onto EASTERN AVE / MD-150 E via EXIT 59 toward ESSEX and continue for 1.0 mile.
  6. Follow the sign for MD-151 S toward I-695 S / SPARROWS PT.  The merge can sneak up on you, so be careful.  Follow 151 South for 5.0 miles.
  7. Turn LEFT at the light following signs for NORTH POINT ROAD and continue for 1.8 miles. 
  8. Turn LEFT into BAY SHORE RD. into the entrance for NORTH POINT STATE PARK.  (The Bay Shore Rd. entrance can sneak up on you – it will be a couple blocks after you pass Miller Island Rd.)
  9. Drive until the booth where you will need to pay $3/car for parking.  After the booth, follow the road all the way until you reach lot B where everyone parks and you can walk over to the pavilion from there.
