Sunday Service

Our Sunday Services are times of worship, celebration, teaching and fellowship. We believe that all of these components are essential to our weekly worship. We meet on Sunday afternoons at 4pm (great time for the Hopkins students). We also strive to make our Sunday worship a place where you can connect with people and not just a place to listen to a sermon. So we ask that you come ready not only to worship God but also to meet with others.

Small Groups

Small groups provide an opportunity to build your community for the purpose of growing in the knowledge and experience of God. Small groups are "smaller groups" where you can ask questions, seek and worship God, and find support in facing the pressures of everyday life. We encourage participation and conversation in our small groups. Try one out and see how meeting with others during the week can help you in your relationship with God at Hopkins.

Discipleship

Discipleship is a lifelong journey in following Christ and growing like Him day by day. Our discipleship series is designed to enable people to develop a deeper relationship with God and a lifestyle to match. Our ultimate goal in discipleship is the formation of godly character. We believe that knowing and applying God's Word, being taught by mature believers, and accountability are all necessary in building godly character. Thus all of these are components of our discipleship series. If you have any questions, please contact Kristi Dusek.

Missions

Missions at Grace Life Stepping Stone seeks to fulfill the Great Commission by training and sending forth workers both locally and overseas to bring people into a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. Each year we offer short-term missions opportunities to the local Baltimore community as well as foreign countries (e.g. Japan, Mozambique, and Mexico). These trips serve a two-fold purpose: to share Christ with those who do not know Him yet; and, to disciple those who are being sent. We believe that an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ allows us to discern needs and opportunities beyond our own limitations. We can begin to see and think more globally as we impact our world for Christ.

Intercessory Prayer Team

Intercessory prayer is a vital part of our church. The purpose of this ministry is to maintain a trained and equipped prayer team that intercedes for the needs of the church. We pray for our various ministries, for our pastors, and for any specific requests from our congregation. Our prayers also extend towards our community, our city, our country and places around the world. Development and training are an active component of this ministry. Training consists of lectures, discussions, and provision of written materials. Active prayer with the team at weekly meetings fosters personal development. Our goal as intercessors is to better hear the voice of God and to grow in the intimacy and depth of prayer.

Media Team

The media team aims to be an effective, creative, and diverse communications instrument of the church used to reach the unchurched in the Baltimore Region. They seek to build a dynamic and powerful ministry team committed to effectively and creatively communicate God's truths and principles and to deliver with integrity, teamwork, and excellence.

There are two parts that currently make up the Media Team:

  • DV Team is a group committed to developing, producing, and compiling new media projects.
  • Powerpoint Team is committed to presenting AV in a professional manner to enhance the worship experience.
